The interior of this elegant and stylish retreat is a play of light, textures and geometric visual contours that seamlessly blends classic charm with contemporary functionality and comfort.
Upon entering, the open-plan design unfolds, revealing a spacious dining area set in its own lower section, parallel to the entrance. Two grand French doors lead to the outdoor entertainment space, inviting in natural light and a combination of indoor-outdoor living. Overhead, exposed roof beams showcase the warmth of the thatched ceiling, further enhancing the home’s character.
As you move through the house you become aware how seamlessly one room flows into another with a backdrop of pale green and sandstone hues between splashes of amber that reminds a person of the colours of the Klein Karoo landscape at sunset.
To one side of the foyer, the lounge is a haven of relaxation, featuring stylish, oversized couches perfect for unwinding with a drink, engaging conversation, or a leisurely evening binge-watching your favorite series.
A wide staircase separates the lounge from the elegant eight-seater dining room.
On the opposite side, the kitchen is a culinary delight, complete with a well-lit center island, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, and every creature comfort needed to host and entertain with ease.
A large stacker door in the lounge opens entirely to the covered balcony, effortlessly merging indoor and outdoor spaces. From here, you can take in stunning views of the lush garden, the inviting pool, and the rolling low hills in the distance.
Beyond the kitchen, a hallway leads to a beautifully designed bathroom with a cosy and comfortable seating area—an ideal private retreat before retiring for the night. The first spacious bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed, large French doors opening onto the shared balcony with the lounge, and additional stacker doors leading to a private seating area nestled in the vast garden. This bedroom features a stunning en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a modern free-standing bath, and ample space to indulge in ultimate relaxation.
Across the hallway, an open-plan study offers a quiet workspace, while the second generous bedroom features another king-size bed, its own smart TV, and a private en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
A staircase from the hallway leads to the third bedroom, a secluded sanctuary tucked away beyond a spacious wardrobe area. This suite includes a comfortable seating nook and a full en-suite bathroom, complete with a sleek walk-in shower and a luxurious free-standing bath.
Outside, the expansive entertainment area is thoughtfully designed to provide shade and comfort while offering uninterrupted views of the crystal-clear swimming pool. Sun loungers invite you to bask in the warmth, while dappled light filters through the trees, creating a serene oasis in the established garden.

At La Maison du Canard, every detail is crafted to offer relaxation, sophistication, and effortless enjoyment. Whether you’re savoring the tranquil views, hosting a lively dinner, or unwinding in one of its many cozy corners, this exquisite home is a sanctuary where lasting memories are made.
1. A 50% deposit of the Rental is payable upon reservation of the Property and the balance is payable 2 days prior to arrival into the Bank Account.
2. Payment of the Deposit, shall be deemed to
be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and secures the reservation.
3. Upon arrival at the Property, the Guest and his Invitees are requested to take careful
note of the Special Instructions. The Guest is at all times during the Rental Period responsible for his Invitees and shall ensure that the Property is used with due consideration, care and respect and in compliance with any rules and/or guidelines as set out in the Special Instructions.
4. The maximum occupancy of each house is the specified number of guests at all times.
5. Any loss or damage to the Owner’s inverter, linen, fixtures, fittings, equipment or movables shall be determined solely by BMG and shall be paid for by the Guest on
demand. Upon departure please notify BMG of any such losses or breakages failing which, BMG shall determine same and the Guest will be liable for such losses.
6. The Guest and his invitees shall occupy
and/or visit the Property at their own risk. The Owner and/or BMG shall not be held liable for personal injury or death of the Guest including his Invitees or any loss/theft/damages to the property of the Guest or his Invitees that may occur during the Guest’s stay on, or about the Property,
howsoever arising. The Guest hereby indemnifies the Owner and BMG in respect of all claims for personal injury or death to the Guest and/or his Invitees or loss or damage to property belonging to the Guest or his Invitees during the Guest’s stay at the Property.
7. Any swimming pool/wooden hot tub/jacuzzi
situated on the Property, shall be used at the sole risk of the Guest and/or his Invitees who should ensure that children are supervised at all times.
8. The Guest hereby indemnifies and holds the Owners and BMG harmless in the event of any claim arising in respect of clauses 5-7 above.
9. Should the Property, for reasons beyond the control of the Owner and/or BMG and not by any fault of the Guest, be unfit for occupation during the Rental Period then the Guest shall receive a refund limited to the period that the Property could not be occupied and no further compensation shall be paid by the Owner and/or BMG to the Guest as a result thereof.
10. The Owner and BMG reserve the right to
cancel the booking at any time before or during the Rental Period should the Guest and/or his Invitees, in the Owner or BBB’s sole discretion, conduct themselves or treat the Property in an inappropriate manner including causing disturbance to neighbours.
11. The guest hereby undertakes to adhere to
the unspoken rule that the town needs to be quiet after 22:00 at night.
12. The guest confirms to having received and read the Terms and Conditions for staying in an establishment let by BBB Rentals.
13. Should the Guest cancel:
13.1. no less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the Rental Period, BMG will refund the Guest 50% of the Deposit;
13.2. within 60 days of the Rental Period,
the Guest forfeits the Deposit; or
13.3. within 30 days of the Rental Period,
the Guest will pay the full Rental.
Definitions:
“Bank Account” means the bank account, designated by BMG to the Guest into which the payments will be made;
“BMG” means Be in McGregor (Pty) LTD, its employees, agents and contractors, being the Owner’s letting agent in respect of the Property; “Deposit” means the deposit to be paid in terms of clause 1.
“He” means he/she as the case may be;
“Guest” means the individual renting the Property from the Owner for the Rental Period;
“Invitees” means all family members,friends, visitors and invitees of the Guest;
“Owner” means the owner of the Property; “Property” means the property under rental;
“Rental” means the consideration agreed upon and confirmed in writing by BMG;
“Rental Period” means the period that the Guest has agreed to rent the Premises; and
“Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions which are deemed to have been
accepted by the Guest upon payment of the Deposit.
